At the recent European Association of Research Manager and Administrators (EARMA) Conference, Graham Stroud of DG Research told delegates that the process of proposal evaluation in Framework Programme 7 (FP7) would not differ dramatically from Framework Programme 6.
However, he outlined some of the processes that could be improved for FP7, including:
-an expansion in the two-stage submission process;
-better feedback to applicants; and
-the use of an appeals process for unsuccessful applicants.
